Plateau CHT Pankshin, To Ensure All Safety Protocols In Regards To COVID-19 Are Put In Place Before Re-opening Of The College. Report by Dan Poly

The Commissioner for  Higher Education in Plateau state, Kak-mena Audu was in the  Plateau state College Of Health Technology, Pankshin, for the continuation of the inspection of all tartiary institutions in the state in preparation for the re-opening of schools as directed by the Executive Governor of Plateau state, Rt Hon Simon Bako Lalong.

The Commissioner was impressed by the pre-cautionary measures put in place by the College management for the re-opening of the college and he urged them to put more effort in making sure that  all safety protocol and directives in regards to the COVID-19 measures are put in place before the re-opening date.

Kak-mena  inspected exit students on Examination and lectures . He advice them to always wear their face mask , observed social distance, regular washing of hands with soap and running water before going into examination hall.

The inspection tour by the Commissioner was climax with the inspection of all lecture halls, examination halls, Hostels, facilities and items to be used when the college re-opens.

Earlier while receiving the Commissioner and his entourage in his office, the  Provost of the college, Dr Francis Fwangje, appreciated the commissioner for coming to inspect all facilities and items put in place for the re-opening of the college as directed by the Plateau state government.

The Provost reiterated the commitment of his administration to ensure that all safety protocol in regards to COVID-19 pandemic will be put in place before the re-opening of the college
