Ayuba Lauds Plateau NULGE Over Credible Poll, Says Election Outcome Transparent. Report by Mangut Ron

The National Auditor of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Ayuba Shamdung, has commended the Plateau state chapter of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees for conducting a free, fear and credible elections of new leaders of the association.

The National Auditor gave the applause at the 9th Quadrennial Delegates Conference of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, held at the Youth Center in Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau state.

Shamdung who also applauded the  peaceful and orderly conduct of the exercise advised others who aspired to lead but were not given the opportunity to queue behind the winners and work for the progress of the Union. 

Shamdung while responding to questions from our correspondents shortly after he announced the results, urged the new exco to work as a team for greater productivity and efficiency and to also ensure the protection of workers right and welfare become their topmost priority, particularly  the implementation of the national minimum wage to Local Government workers in the state, noting that staff are the engine room of our union.

The election saw Comrade Arandong Yohanna Makwin as the newly elected President of the Union among many others.
