Mafuyai Hails Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees Over Peaceful Poll. Report by Walin Ron

Plateau state President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Samson Mafuyai, has commended the Local Government workers  for electing new officials that will pilot the affairs of the association at the state chapter for the next four years.

Mafuyai while congratulating the President elect and his new exco for emerging victorious. He  called on them to continue  with the struggle and always looking forward for the implementation of minimum wage, promotions and Local Government staff welfare.

Comrade Mafuyai made this known shortly after the  successful conduct of  election by the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees held at the Youth Center in Pankshin.

According to Mafuyai, the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees Plateau state chapter moves from grass to grace under him, there are quite alot of meaningful achievements he recorded for almost 12 years in office. Some of the achievements outlined  are: the building of NULGE Secretariat, co-operative for the Local Government workers with the cash and assets worth over one hundred million naira.

The outgoing President urged all Local Government workers to overwhelmingly support the Comrade Arandong Yohanna Makwin led administration to enable him achieve the desired goal and this can be done through prayers and necessary support.

2- Josiah Simput- Vice President.
3- Christiana Nanji Kura- Women Chairperson
4- Sarah Idi Adanchin- Treasurer.
5- Danyam Dachung -Auditor (1)

7- Hanatu Daniel- Welfare Secretary.
8- Aminchi Joshua-Publicity Secretary.
9- Ezekiel Emmanuel Jan- Young worker
10- Yakubu Mato- Trustee-1
11- Sunday Musa- Trustee -11
