Christmas: Kak'mena Dishes Out Food Items To Underprivileged As Christmas Gift
Commissioner for Higher Education in Plateau state, Hon Audu Kak'mena has donated food items across the ten electoral wards of the Pankshin North constituency.
Kak'mena while presenting the items which included rice and beans to the Chairman of the Pankshin North Elders Forum, Hon Danladi Markida for onward distribution to the beneficiaries at wards level said the gesture was borne out of his desire to assist the underprivileged celebrate Christmas with their family members.
The Commissioner appeals to the Christians to use the festive period to offer special prayers for God's intervention in the fight against the ravaging Covid-19 pandemic.
Kak'mena also appealed to citizens in the area to continue to support Governor Lalong's administration to enable him succeed. He noted that the Governor has passion for his people in the state and will continue to initiate policies and programes that will have direct bearing on the lives of the people and the state in general.
Responding, the Chairman of the Pankshin North Elders Forum, Hon Danladi Markida thanked the Commissioner for the good gesture and prayed God to reward him abundantly. He urged the Commissioner to continue in that spirit as the sky will continue to be his limit and assured of equitable distribution of the items at all the electoral wards of Pankshin North Constituency.
