Senator Dimka intervenes in Army/Masquerades clash

DIMKA INTERVENES IN ARMY/MASQUERADES CLASH

In an effort to settle the clash between the Army and Masquerades in Pankshin, Senator Hezekiah Dimka has met with Pankshin and Kanke LGA chairmen Hon. John Damap and Hon. Emma Lar, the deputy chairman of Pankshin, Hon. Sam Mbok, Chief Maicibi Vwarji, a prominent APC chieftain. 

The meeting was for the Senator together with the other leaders to get to the bottom of the clash that occurred a few days ago between the Army and some Masquerades in the area.

Meanwhile, a committee to investigate the clash has been constituted by Governor Simon Bako Lalong. The Committee is to be chaired by rtd AIG B Makama-Dabup.

Other committee members include: ACP Ben Osuji  NPF  Area Commander, Prof John  Wade, Director General Research, Strategic Planning and Documentation, and  Hon Emmanuel Lar, Chairman Kanke LGA 

The list includes, Hon Damap John Danladi, Chairman Pankshin LGA, Chief Maicibi Vwarji, Emmanuel Luke Dogara DSS, and Danjuma Damenkyap John, OSGS to serve as Secretary.

All the leaders frown at the unfortunate event promising to get to the bottom of it as well as appealed to all to keep the peace.
