Two former students of the Federal College of Education Pankshin have bagged the Presidential NYSC Merit Award for outstanding performance during their service years. The affected students are Lar Nacit and Agbo Alice who both graduated from the English and Admin and Planning Departments respectively from the College. The two were among the one hundred and sixty eight (168) Corpers who emerged winners from the 2015, 2016 and 2017 service years nationwide. The College graduands recipients who served in Gombe and Sokoto states during their service years had also earlier bagged the First Lady's Award Certificate by the First Ladies of the affected states. Speaking on behalf of the awardees during a visit to the College, Lar Nacit said they were back to their Alma-Mata to show appreciation to the authorities for moulding them well.
